"stupid" (which hurt my feelings when i was little) and yelling at me because i never caught the ball. They made me very sad. After that season I decided to never play soccer again!
I have witnessed things like this a lot at school. People have made fun of people for their hobbies, looks, friends, clothes, family life, etc. The list can go on for a while. I have been around friends who get called names a lot. I can just see the look in their face after they have been offended, and I can just feel their pain. It makes you feel like sad, and embarrassed and it makes those people feel self conscience. For example, if somebody makes fun if your clothes, and you thought that they were very stylish, it makes you feel like, does everybody think this about me? And sometimes the people change themselves so the won't be made fun of. Like the person who was made fun of their clothes, they would go and get new clothes that they don't enjoy wearing, or are uncomfortable in.
Although I have witnessed this, I know I have caused this pain sometimes throughout the years. But after I do it, and I see that pain in their eyes, I feel really bad and I end up regretting it. So I can't even imagine what Freak gets called, and how self conscience he is about himself. That is why it is important to have a true friend. Like Mighty will end up being to Freak. :D

Love your thoughts Madison. I also appreciate your honesty. Is there any one experience you particularly remember?
Have you become more secure and confident over time?
